So I want to find out how long it takes for a certain flavour of baby food to grow mould...and I think I'll buy different flavours of the same brand of baby food. So I'm actually comparing between the flavours and see which one grows mould the fastest.
Independent variable: time
Dependent variable: which flavour grows mould the fastest
Controlled variable: the different flavours of baby food
So er.. yes, that's the basic idea.
