Aim: To investigate which type (flavour) of baby food grows mould the fastest.

Hypothesis: The baby food with meat (in my case, it's beef) will grow mould first out of the three.

Equipment: Three different flavour of baby food, air

Method:
1. Open the three glass/cans of baby food.
2. Leave the three glass/cans of baby food in exposed air.
3. Wait until mould starts to develop on/in the food.
4. Observe changes.
5. Record observations in a table.

Variables:
Independent variable: time
Dependent variable: which flavour grows mould the fastest
Controlled variable: the different flavours of baby food

yeah, i think that's about it..i'm so looking forward to my baby food to grow mould... :|

  1. Davian, I'm worried about how simple this particular experiment really is. What kind of results are you thinking you might get? What do you think you'll be analysing?

Do you think your results will be very fair and valid? Especially when you are actually comparing such different things...?
